Meet Coach Urbane

Coach Urbane Bingham is a basketball coach, former professional player, and athlete development specialist with more than a decade of experience competing and coaching at the highest levels of the game.

As the current Head Coach of the Washington Generals, Coach Urbane leads player development, performance evaluation, and team operations while helping athletes maximize their potential both on and off the court. His career includes 10 years with the Washington Generals and Harlem Globetrotters organization, professional playing experience overseas in Portugal, and coaching roles with the Jr. Clippers program and USA Basketball initiatives.

Selected as a Jr. NBA All-Star 2026 Clinician, Coach Urbane has trained athletes of all ages and skill levels: from beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive players seeking to elevate their game. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing the complete athlete through skill mastery, basketball IQ, discipline, confidence, and leadership.
